Katherman, Briggs & Greenberg is proud to be a major sponsor of the Double Creek Tour & Run, York's premier cycling and running event. The Double Creek Tour and Run provides participants with the opportunity to bike a metric century (62 miles) or a half-metric century (30 miles) or to run a half-marathon (13.1 miles) or a 5 k (3 miles), all on the scenic pastoral roads of northern York and Adams Counties.
Proceeds from the Double Creek Tour & Run benefit the Healthy Community Pharmacy, a cooperative effort of local health systems whose primary mission is to assist patients who cannot afford their medicines. Since the Healthy Community Pharmacy opened its doors in 2004, thousands of patients have received discounted medications. As the uninsured and underinsured populations continue to grow, more and more people need assistance in obtaining life sustaining medications. Katherman, Briggs & Greenberg attorney Craig Milsten has been the chairman of the Double Creek Tour and Run committee since its inception. The 2006 event drew more than 575 cycling and running participants and raised over $34,000 for the Healthy Community Pharmacy. Katherman, Briggs & Greenberg is proud to assist this worthwhile effort.
